Sometime during season 2, Voltron needs to go on a mission. This mission requires someone to wear a dress to hide weapons and to appear at a fancy area or something

And everyone looks to Pidge first, who is like hell no I'm not wearing a freaking dress (and because they're all great people, they respect her boundaries and let her not wear a dress)

To which they begin to go around, needing to find someone else to wear the stupid dress

And Lance just starts laughing. "Hey, maybe Keith should wear the dress! His mullet would look great with a ball gown!"

To which Keith just replies "Sure"

Everyone is surprised (Lance choked on his food goo), but he puts on the dress and does the mission and looks great while doing it

Later, they all come back to the castle to find him lounging on the couch, still in the dress

Lance: ...You know the mission's over, right? You can take it off now

Keith: *eating chips* Yeah but I'm tired. Don't feel like it

Lance: Ok but like you really don't have to keep it on

Pidge: *from across the room* RESPECT THE GENDER, LANCE

After that, it became a common occurrence to catch Keith walking around, just chilling, in a massive ball gown or pleated skirt
